Deposit terms:

A deposit to hold an available kitten is $250. Holding fee-deposits are non-refundable because a change of mind after committing to a kitten can jeopardize the placement of a kitten at its desirable age into another home. However, holding deposits do get applied toward the adoption cost of the kitten.

If you'd like to be put on a waiting list for an upcoming litter, Please email us with what you are looking for in a kitten male/female, color preference and coat length. We will be happy to keep you informed of what we are expecting! Most kitten prices range from 650 to 1200.

Kittens can depart to their new home at 12 weeks of age or once they have completed their 2nd vaccination. A SHOW quality kitten adopted as a pet will be altered before it leaves Attitude Acres.

There is a new program that involves all breeds of cats called "Who's your Daddy ." This is a program for breeders to have their cats DNA tested and registered. Attitude Acres is pleased to announce that we, in conjunction with Monstercat are the pioneers of this remarkable new program.

You, as a consumer, will get the assurance of knowing that you are getting what you pay for. There are a lot of cat breeders who said that they won't test their cats and yet, give no reason, which leaves us to think that something is not right. We are going to be DNA testing on our cats with pride because we know our cats are pure bred and correctly registered. When shopping around for your new cat or dog, be sure to ask if the breeder, if they are a member of "Who's your Daddy" or are willing to supply information for DNA testing on the kitten you want to buy.

Definition of Show and Pet/Breeder Quality

Show/Breeder Quality:

These are the kittens I feel are exceptional examples of the breed. There are no disqualifying faults or known hereditary defects affecting its suitability for breeding. They are sold with full TICA/CFA and ACFA registration papers, and with guarantees. Kittens are sold on co-ownership until all contractual obligations are fulfilled and a Champion title is obtained.

Breeder Quality:

Breeder quality kittens are kittens that usually have a disqualifying fault that eliminates them from showing. In Bobtails, that usually means a long tail. This does NOT eliminate them from breeding and MANY breeders do use long tails (or dock tailed) kittens in their breeding programs to maintain a healthy spine length.

Pet Quality:

These are the kittens I consider to be not as structurally correct as show quality, who are physically sound and make wonderful companions, but who would not necessarily improve upon the next generation. These kittens are not to EVER be bred. They are sold with limited registration, meaning that offspring are not eligible for registration, and these kittens may not compete in shows unless they are shown House Hold Pet class. ***These kittens are sold on Spay/Neuter contracts*** and most are speutered prior to leaving our home.

THANK YOU! Many of you have emailed me to let me know that my cats ARE being used in another breeder's magazine ad. YES we are aware of it, NO this person does not have our permission to use our cats. We were to be included in the ad as payment for graphic work we did for this breeder (Website design, brochures, business cards) however this person took it upon themselves to change the ad at the very LAST minute, an ad which WAS designed by me. Therefor, stealing my graphic work and submitting it as their own without payment to me, to use my design. They purposely deleted my name and contact info out of the ad, yet kept the design and photo's of my cats. Bowtie publications as well as the photographers of the cat photo's used have been notified of this.
