Attitude Acres is a small private cattery whose main focus is showing American Bobtail cats and kittens. We only breed a litter when we need a new show kitten. We have bred and shown several consecutive International Best Of Breed Winners. Please visit our SHOWS link to view these champions and their awards. This coming year 2007, we will have several litters to choose from as our big guns, "Hawk", "Renegade" & "Rony" have obtained the highest rankings possible as show cats and will be retiring.
Occasionally we do have Bobtail kittens for sale, some show, others as pets only. The difference between a show and pet kitten is usually so minor that only a serious exhibitor would know the difference so OUR pet kittens are stunning examples of the American Bobtail.

The American Bobtail is a large, powerfully built, natural occurring breed of bobtailed cat. American Bobtails are a breed that has occurred all on it's own with no interference from man, no hybridizing of two known breeds of domestic cat, nor is the breed an isolated mutation.
The American Bobtail displays the look of an rugged, hearty, athletic animal, well muscled and solid with the feral appearance of power, yet the temperament is that of a calm, intelligent and completely manageable cat. American Bobtails come in a variety of colors and can have a long or short coat. American Bobtail Male are larger then their female counterparts. Due to the size and boning of this breed, the American Bobtail takes up to 3 years to reach full maturity and growth.
Friendly, playful and outgoing in nature, the American Bobtail is fast becoming a darling of the cat fancy.
