Attitudes in the news
Attitude Acres American Bobtails
Attitude Acres is dedicated to the continuing education and promotion of the American Bobtail breed. We are very often called upon for submitting articles to various publications world wide.

Below are some of the places where you will catch our "Attitudes" in action!

If you come across one of our publications or photo's of our cats, PLEASE let us know. :) Since we are seemingly everywhere, we do occasionally loose track of when and where we are being published!
About 3 years ago I was contacted for photo's of my cats in a "outdoorsy" natural type situations. We had just trimmed the Fichus tree and pomegranate bush. So I thought it would be fun to let the cats explore in the cuttings. The cats had a blast and the leaves made an excellent background. I got some fabulous wild shots of them. Little did I know they would end up in a book!
We used to be based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Eukanuba is in Dayton, they called us looking for kittens to shoot. :) We got the calendar cover and our photos were also used on some coupons!
When the American Bobtail was accepted into championship status in ACFA I was asked to do a breed article for their Bulletin publication. It came out very nice, but I wish it would have been in color :)
I wrote this for a German magazine. it is pretty interesting to see something printed in a language that it wasn't wrote in! The Cat in the photo is "DeeDee" her registered name was Who Knows of Attitude Acres. She was one of my first show cats and is in the pedigree of many famous Bobtails.
Pretty much similar to the German article, only this time in the TICA Trend. This photo by Helmi Flick remains one of my favorites of all times.
Article By Tammy Gange

Tammy did a fabulous write up and got the quotes correct, however I was disappointed in the cats whose photos they used. This tabby, IMHO, was the best one in the article. So far NO BOBTAIL breeder knows whose cat it is! {grin} She looks like she could be one of mine, but My cats do not have orange eyes.
Petworld Magazine based in Malaysia, published the entire  8 page spread on the American Bobtail, that I submitted to them awhile back. One of the best ones I have seen yet!
